ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This north London Georgian property  still had the original timber sash windows from when the property was first built. Although the timber sash windows were original, they were very draughty from being single glazed and suffering from severe rot.

The client decided to replace the all the house sash windows with exact replicas but double glazing. The choosen quality was Planiterm Glass. The outer frames were finished in white and the working sash’s finished in off-white to match the original sash windows.  The ground floor window was made of  toughened glass for security reasons. The windows were also installed with restrictors at 100mm.
